About this Event
No matter what we do, the public is going to public, so we must protect our design from people peopling.
This interactive discussion, led by the bo-mar Industries Team will educate members on common design challenges and lessons learned when creating custom amenities and preparing them for public interface. Discussion will include the analysis of sample project plans to identify best practices in custom design. Attendees will be able to apply design knowledge to the underestimated destructive nature of the public, nature, and the environment and plan for environmental factors such as traffic dust and dirt accumulation, nesting animals, seasonal factors, construction parameters, and vandalism.
Shop tours will also be offered.
Beginning at 4:30 AIA Indianapolis has arranged for a photographer to take headshots of members and sponsors. These photos will then be made available.
Submitted for AIA CE Credit. HSW Credit is pending.
Thanks to the bo-mar Industries Team for hosting this program.
