Hair Is Care Expo: Back-to-School Edition is a free community event created by Adopted I Am to empower children, families, and caregivers through hair care education, back-to-school support, and meaningful community connection. Designed for foster, adoptive, kinship, and biological families, as well as anyone looking to learn. The expo provides a welcoming space where attendees can gain practical skills, build confidence, and connect with valuable resources.

Throughout the day, families will experience live hair demonstrations, barber and stylist workshops, product education, panel discussions, community resources, school supply giveaways, and opportunities to engage with local hair care professionals, businesses, and organizations. Whether you’re learning to care for your own hair, supporting someone else’s journey, or preparing your family for the new school year, Hair Is Care Expo offers something for everyone.
