AI-2026 is the forty-sixth Annual International Conference of the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT's Specialist Group on Artificial Intelligence (SGAI), which will be held in the attractive surroundings of Peterhouse in Cambridge.

This is the leading series of UK-based international conferences on Artificial Intelligence and the longest-running AI conference series in Europe.

• Presenting authors of refereed full papers in the Technical & Application streams must register for the full 3-day conference at a rate of £500 + VAT.
• Presenting authors of refereed short papers (posters) in the Technical & Application streams who are not students must register for the full 3-day conference at a rate of £500 + VAT.
• Student presenting authors of refereed short papers (posters) in the Technical & Application streams may register for the full 3-day conference at the reduced rate of £205 + VAT - you will be provided with an access code if you are eligible.

The registration deadline for all presenting authors in the Technical & Application streams is Monday 14 September 14 2026.

Please note:

The £500 + VAT registration fee includes:

• Daily lunch and refreshments.
• Admission to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening.
• A ticket to the Gala Dinner on Wednesday evening
• A copy of the conference proceedings

Accommodation is not included and must be booked separately.

The student registration fee of £205 + VAT includes:

• Daily lunch and refreshments.
• Admission to the Welcome Reception on Tuesday evening.

The student rate does not include:

• A ticket to the Gala Dinner.
• A copy of the conference proceedings.

You may purchase these separately if required.

Accommodation is not included and must be booked separately.

There are prizes for the best paper and best student paper in both streams and the best presented short (poster) paper overall.

Presenting Authors' refund policy

There are no refunds for this event, as you pay to publish your papers with Springer in Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (LNAI).

General refund policy

Refunds will only be given on accommodation until Thursday, 26 November 2026; after this date, we cannot offer refunds.

Things to note

We may record or take photos during this conference; if you do not wish to be photographed, please notify the photographer.

We will share your name, surname, and any dietary requirements with Peterhouse so they can accommodate your needs for this conference and for the gala dinner if you are attending.

Our events are for adults aged 18 years and over.
