About this Event

AI in Learning and Teaching: Sharing Practice and Exploring Approaches

The CoSE L&T AI working group is hosting an informal college-wide discussion on the use of generative AI in learning, teaching and scholarship.

This event is an opportunity to hear how colleagues are approaching generative AI, share experiences, and discuss practical challenges and opportunities. We will explore questions such as:

  • Which AI tools are people finding useful in teaching and learning?
  • What approaches are working well, and what has not lived up to expectations?
  • How are colleagues thinking about issues such as access, privacy, reproducibility and validation?
  • How are we adapting our teaching strategies in response to rapidly changing AI capabilities?

The session will include a series of short lightning talks from colleagues sharing their experiences and approaches, followed by time for discussion, questions and informal conversation.

There will also be opportunities for colleagues to contribute a lightning talk or submit questions in advance. We are particularly keen to hear a range of perspectives from across the colleges.

Please register your attendance and submit any questions or expressions of interest in contributing.
