Info: Building the Runway to Adoption: How Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley Is Supporting AI Readiness Across the NHS. This presentation explores how Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley supports AI technologies on the journey from development to adoption across the NHS. Using AI stroke imaging as a flagship case study—now adopted in 100% of NHS stroke centres—it will illustrate how structured evaluation, system leadership and partnership working enabled national adoption. The session will also draw on wider examples, including support for ambient voice technologies across care settings, AI-enabled risk stratification, and advances in radiology, highlighting how we work with innovators and NHS partners to build the evidence base, clarify adoption pathways, and establish the clinical and economic case needed to improve productivity and drive transformation at scale.
