About this Event
AI in the art world: Both sides of the fence
Join SJWC members and friends at our monthly Antiques, Art, and Culture Group meeting and learn about the influence AI is having in the Art World, on both sides of the fence. From novices taking images of their pieces in their home and thinking that is the end-all description and value to people using AI to create all kinds of art, and whether that is a valid art form.
AI is transforming the art world by changing how artists create, how art is valued, and how audiences experience creativity. While it opens exciting new possibilities, it also raises questions about originality, copyright, and the role of the artist. Allyson Bradley, Vice President of Michaan's Auctions, will speak about the impact of AI on the art world, exploring both the opportunities and challenges this emerging technology brings to the art community.
