About this Event

Interested in AI? Concerned about AI? No math or computer science background – No problem! This small two-workshop series will provide introductory information and skills to help you navigate the current AI landscape.

In the first workshop we will define basic AI concepts, describe primary domains of AI, and recognize ethical considerations for AI. The workshop will also provide hands-on experience in developing prompts for use with generative AI chatbots.

In the second workshop we will extend what we practiced in the first workshop. This includes honing and refining prompting techniques for generative AI chatbots, and applying the methods to other AI tools.

The two workshops will provide guided hands-on experience in developing and honing prompts, while demonstrating the limitations of generative AI chatbots. They both will also provide a space to discuss issues and answer questions around AI tools.

This is the first in a two-workshop series. Click here to sign up for the second workshop.
