Ragheb Raad
Ragheb Raad, PhD, is a versatile professional blending expertise in academia and industry. As an accomplished author, university instructor, and machine learning engineer specializing in computer vision, Raad brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field.
He earned his PhD from the University of Southern California, graduating from the esteemed Computation and Data Discovery Group. Currently, Raad serves as an adjunct lecturer at the university's Industrial & Systems Engineering Department where he imparts knowledge to budding engineers through courses covering Python programming, statistics, deep learning, and blockchain systems.
In addition to his academic endeavors, he actively contributes to groundbreaking projects in the industry. He has lent his expertise to renowned organizations such as OpenAI and ScaleAI. Notably, Raad is instrumental in the OSTRICH project at OpenAI, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of ChatGPT through meticulous improvements of generated code.
At ScaleAI, Raad serves as a reinforcement learning engineer, specializing in tuning and training large language models. His contributions to projects like Vanilla, Flamingo, Dolphin, and Bulba showcase his prowess in harnessing AI for real-world applications.

Andrew Bi
Graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a major in Optoelectronics, formerly employed at the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) from the University of Notre Dame, USA, with a full scholarship. Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of California, USA, honored as a Top 5% graduate.
30 years of extensive IT high-tech and business experience in both the US and China. Worked at leading American semiconductor technology companies, including the core product development division at AMD CPU, and served as CEO and executive director of both publicly listed and startup companies in China.
Holds a Certificate in Business Management from UCLA. Completed a Sino-American Business Strategy Seminar at Harvard Business School. Chief representative of academic exchanges at the University of Cambridge (Materials Science). Certified in Artificial Intelligence Education from MIT.
