Workshop overview: This interactive workshop equips behavioral health professionals to use generative AI responsibly in clinical and administrative practice while protecting confidentiality, maintaining professional competence, and preserving independent clinical judgment. Participants will examine practical applications, ethical risks, limitations, and a structured method for reviewing AI-generated content before utilizing it.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Identify at least five appropriate uses of generative AI in behavioral health practices.

• Recognize key ethical risks involving confidentiality, privacy, bias, accuracy, and professional responsibility.

• Use the BRIDGE Framework to create prompts and review AI-generated content.

• Distinguish between tasks AI may support and duties that must remain under the clinician’s direct control.
