AI Clinic 01: Bring one bottleneck, leave with a solution (Mississauga)
About this Event
There is one job in your business you keep doing by hand. You know exactly which one it is. You have probably been meaning to fix it for two years.
Bring it.
This is a clinic, not a talk. Everyone in the room names the one thing they keep doing manually. All of it goes up on a board and gets sorted, out loud, into three columns:
- Do this yourself, this week. Genuinely, an evening.
- A weekend project. Real, but it will take a Saturday and some patience.
- Needs help, or is not worth doing at all. Both answers are honest ones.
Then we take three or four apart properly. The approach, the tool, roughly what it costs, what will break, and who should build it.
Every bottleneck in the room gets sorted out loud and gets a first step. Some of these are a ten minute job, some are a real project, and some are not worth doing. You will be told which.
Here is the thing owners are not told: almost all of it is possible now. Not theoretically, actually, by people who do not write code. The gap is not capability, it is that nobody has ever sat down with you and told you which of the three columns your problem lives in.
The night
- 6:00 Doors, coffee, write your bottleneck on a card
- 6:15 Round the table. Who you are and the one job you keep doing by hand. Sixty
seconds each, nobody interrupts - 6:35 The board. Everything gets sorted in front of the room
- 6:50 Three or four get worked through properly
- 7:20 Networking
- 8:00 Out
Who should come
Owners and operators in Mississauga, Oakville, Brampton, Milton, Etobicoke and Burlington. Trades and field service, logistics, clinics, retail, professional services, small manufacturers, agencies. If you sign the payroll or run the operation, this is aimed at you.
Who should not
Developers, ML engineers, and anyone here to sell to the room. There are better technical meetups downtown.
What to bring
Yourself and one bottleneck. No laptop, nothing technical. Be specific: “marketing” is not a bottleneck, “I re-enter every order into QuickBooks by hand” is.
Cost
Free, and capped at 20 seats. I make my living doing this work inside businesses and I will say that once, at the end, in one sentence. That is the whole pitch. You will get the honest answer even when the honest answer is that you do not need me.
When: Wednesday 16 September 2026, 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Where: 30 Topflight Drive, Mississauga. Follow the signs to the offices when you arrive. Doors at 6:00, and it is worth being there for the round the table at 6:15 because that is where your bottleneck goes on the board.
Seats are shared with the Meetup listing at meetup.com/build-with-ai-mississauga. Register in one place only.
Run by Marko Starcevic, who builds software inside owner-led businesses and teaches the owners to keep building it themselves. markostarcevic.com
