Shelby Austin

Shelby Austin is a renowned business leader and tech entrepreneur, best known as the CEO and Co-Founder of Arteria AI, a cutting-edge technology company that specializes in artificial intelligence and machine learning. With over 15 years of experience in the tech industry, Shelby is widely recognized for her expertise in AI and her ability to build successful businesses from the ground up. She is a serial entrepreneur, and former Managing Partner, Growth & Investments (and Omnia AI) at Deloitte Canada.


Junaid Mirza

Junaid Mirza is the Legal Function Transformation Leader and a partner in the Tax Reporting & Strategy team at PwC Canada, specializing in transformation for legal and tax functions. Junaid has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to clients across a wide range of industries, helping them to navigate complex financial challenges and achieve their business objectives. In addition, he also played a key role in the PWC partnership with Harvey.


Jack Newton

Jack Newton is the CEO and co-founder of Clio, a cloud-based legal technology company that has transformed the legal industry. With over 20 years of experience in the tech industry, Jack is a leading expert in cloud computing, SaaS, and legal technology. He has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 40 under 40 and has been named to the Forbes Midas List of top tech investors.


Amy Salyzyn

Amy Salyzyn is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Ottawa. Professor Salyzyn has written extensively in the area of legal ethics, lawyer regulation, technology in legal service delivery and access to justice, having now published over 20 articles in Canadian and international journals on these topics. She is also the co-author of Understanding Lawyers' Ethics in Canada (3rd edition; forthcoming summer 2023) and co-editor of the Canadian Legal Practice looseleaf.

Professor Salyzyn is a regular legal ethics columnist for Slaw.ca. Prior to entering academia, Professor Salyzyn received her J.S.D. and LL.M. from Yale Law School and her J.D. from the University of Toronto Law School, where she was awarded the Dean’s Key upon graduation. Before coming to the University of Ottawa, Professor Salyzyn also served as a judicial law clerk at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and practiced at a Toronto litigation boutique. She is currently the Board Chair for the Canadian Association for Legal Ethics.


John Weigelt

John Weigelt is the National Technology Officer at Microsoft Canada. He helps businesses, governments, and individuals across Canada innovate with technology while avoiding the unintended consequences that might arise. Through his advocacy work, speaking engagements, and thought leadership, John is helping to shape the future of technology in Canada and beyond.
