Welcome to Ablaze Collective — Calgary's in-person community for accountants and bookkeepers navigating AI.

We started with a simple but urgent belief: AI is reshaping how accountants and bookkeepers work faster than most firms can keep up. Ablaze Collective exists to change that — one real conversation at a time.

This is not a polished conference. There are no vendors pitching you. Just CPAs, bookkeepers, accounting firm leaders, founders, and data scientists getting together to share what's actually working in AI — and what isn't.

✦ WHAT TO EXPECT The evening will be a mix of short structured talks and open networking, with plenty of time to connect over drinks at one of Calgary's favourite Stephen Ave spots. Social Beer Haus has graciously given us half the bar for the night.

We're also celebrating a milestone: our founder Jessica Kentch's first successful company exit — the sale of Ablaze Analytics' Australian entity to a large ANZ-based firm. Come raise a glass. 🥂

✦ A NOTE ON REGISTRATION This event is free, and we want to keep it that way. But registration is required — and we do review it. To protect the integrity of the collective and ensure every attendee is here to contribute and connect — not solicit — we review registrations by email domain and LinkedIn profile. We ask that attendees either know Jessica or a member of the Ablaze team personally, or can clearly demonstrate they belong in the accounting or AI community.
