Rita Arrigo, Strategic Engagement Manager, National AI Centre

Rita Arrigo is the Strategic Engagement Manager at National AI Centre, focused on leading the AI ecosystem strategy to foster engagement and collaboration across AI to lift Australia’s global AI adoption and growing a responsible AI Industry in Australia.

As a renowned digital strategist and a reputation to lead digital and AI transformation projects, she cultivates innovation with emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), Mixed Reality (MR) & Digital Twin to industry sectors including health, transport, energy, education and urban planning, customer engagement and environmental stewardship. Previously, Deputy Director Centre of Industrial AI Research and Innovation (CIAIRI) & Chief Digital Advisor at Microsoft. She was appointed an AI Ambassador and continues to advocate for ways that AI and XR can reinvent experiences in work and daily life. A sought-after speaker for many years on all things AI, innovation and digital, on television, radio, podcast, keynote speaking, panels and workshops.



Gabriele Sanguigno, Chief Executive Officer, ToothFairyAI

Gabriele Sanguigno is a mechanical engineer specialising in systems automation with a passion for IT and innovation. With over 8 years' experience in AI and startups, Gabriele is a leader in Artificial Intelligence, DevOps, Cross-platform development, Serverless architecture and NoSQL databases

Theodore Panagacos, Chief Executive Officer, Kodora

Theodore Panagacos is the Chief Executive Officer of Kodora, one of Australia’s leading AI technology and advisory firms. Throughout his career, Theodore has been an advisor to both Boards and senior Executives for Australia’s largest commercial and government organisations and has a wealth of experience in IT strategy, cloud, business operations, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. At Kodora, Theodore works with a team of expert AI Engineers to help its customers of all industry types solve their most complex AI challenges.



Dr Suryani Lim, Senior Lecturer, Federation University

Dr Suryani Lim joined FedUni in 2016. She is a Senior Lecturer in IT and a Higher Degree by Research Coordinator, a member of the Centre for Smart Analytics and WE2ST (Women in Engineering, Education, Science and Technology). Before Federation University, she was an academic staff at Monash and CSU. Before her PhD, she worked as a computer programmer in industry and neuropsychology research labs. Her current research focuses on applied AI, Generative AI as a learning and teaching tool in higher education, as well as bridging industry and research within undergraduate IT courses. She will discuss how Federation University develops AI experts at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Masters and PhDs
