About this Event
This event is open to all, members and non-members!
Plan on joining us for our next presentation in our Pittsburgh History Series on Thursday, May 21st.
Cocktail hour at 5pm with presentation at 6pm
Amanda Gillen, Executive Director of The Frick Pittsburgh, traces the history of the museum from its early days as the home of industrialist and art collector Henry Clay Frick and his family to its current role as one of the city’s premiere cultural institutions. While the story of the Frick family is central to the museum’s identity, it has evolved over the years into a place to see high-quality art exhibitions, enjoy the landscape of its 10-acre campus, and explore the history of Gilded Age Pittsburgh.
