Ahwatukee Giving Circle - Q3 2026

Join us to learn about three Arizona charities and discover the significant impact they are making in our community. During our event, members present their nominated organization, followed by a vote. The charity that receives the most votes will be awarded our collective donation of $10,000 or more.

Event Schedule

• 6:00 - 6:30 PM: Check-in and socializing

• 6:30 - 7:30 PM: Giving Circle program

Additionally, a cash bar will be available for the purchase of beer, wine, or soda.

Guest Participation

Guests are welcome to attend and experience firsthand what a giving circle is all about. There is never any obligation for guests to join or donate.

About the Giving Circle Concept

We are an informal group of women dedicated to supporting our community. By utilizing a giving circle model of philanthropy, we create a quarterly impact for one local Arizona nonprofit. A giving circle forms when individuals come together to pool their resources, decide collectively where to direct their donations, and learn together about their community and philanthropy. Through this approach, we have witnessed how small acts, multiplied by many people, can transform a community.

100+ Women Who Care Valley of the Sun is organized by an executive committee comprised of passionate volunteers and supported by generous sponsors. Members make donations directly to the selected local charities, ensuring that 100% of contributions go directly to those organizations. Our chapter aims to support local nonprofits by providing funding, exposure, and awareness in a short amount of time.

Our Impact

Our goal is to donate $10,000 or more at each giving circle event. This is accomplished when over 100 women gather for one hour to learn about three local charities. Members nominate the charities and present each nonprofit’s mission, needs, and plans for using a $10,000+ donation. After presentations, members vote, and the charity with the most votes receives the quarterly donations. Each member donates $100 directly to the winning charity, resulting in more than $10,000 donated in just one hour.

Our members come together quarterly from throughout the Phoenix metro area. Currently, there are three groups meeting across the Valley of the Sun: Ahwatukee, Scottsdale, and East Valley. Since our inception in 2014, our chapter has donated over $1,500,000 to local nonprofits.
