AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course

In this four-hour video-based, hands-on instructor-led course, you will be taught the basics of adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use, how to use a Bag Valve Mask (BVM), and how to relieve choking.

Upon completion of this course, students will receive an American Heart Association BLS CPR/AED course completion card that is valid for two years. The BLS CPR/AED plus Infant Course teaches the basic techniques of adult, child, and infant CPR and how to give first aid for choking. Students also learn how to use an AED, which has become more important since AEDs are now found in the majority of large public places, and they have been proven to be much more effective than CPR alone.

We recommend this course to those who work in fields requiring advanced emergency medical skill and knowledge. This course is designed for professional rescuers like paramedics, nurses, lifeguards, etc.
