About Agnostic Front
A Godfather figure is understood to be a purveyor of genre; a pioneer in a particular realm of creation. Perhaps more importantly, and after over 3 decades molding the Hardcore realm, AGNOSTIC FRONT have protected and nurtured Hardcore music in such a way that it still exists healthily & in its proper form, today. As a band that has cultivated their reputation with honesty, and that prioritizes affirming their social messages to the world, "GET LOUD!" is well suited as the title for their 12th, full length studio album. Although the sociopolitical climate has transformed considerably since the release of the "United Blood" EP in 1983, the basic concepts of political corruption and social unrest have only been enhanced, and with them the fuel on AGNOSTIC FRONT’s fire. “We’ve always had a voice; had a lot to say. We’re always screaming for a change” says frontman Roger Miret. “Speak up, get loud, say what you have to say. Be the change you want to see in the world. You can’t change the whole thing, but you can make little differences that will matter, eventually.”
About Murphy's Law
Riding the fine line between obnoxious skatepunk and sodden metal, Murphy's Law came out of New York City's mid-'80s hardcore scene and formed in Astoria, Queens, around vocalist Jimmy Gestapo, but the group's frequently shifting lineup also included guitarists Todd Youth, , and Jack Flanagan; bassists Pete Martinez, Chuck Valle, and Dean; and drummers Doug E. Beans and Eric Arce. The group's self-titled debut, released on Profile in 1986, contained the usual '80s subjects (boredom, alienation, W**d, beer, etc.), but the songs were definitely there, and Murphy's Law improved even more with their second album, 1989's Back with a Bong! The band was on the Profile-associated Combat Records for 1991's The Best of Times, but recorded little during the early '90s. In 1995, Murphy's Law came back with the EP Good for Now, and the full-length Dedicated arrived the following year. Best of Times/Good for Now was issued in 2000; The Party's Over came next in the spring of 2001.
About Violent Way
Inspired by the pioneers of subculture, Violent Way proudly carry yesterday’s traditions with the modern relevance of today’s youth. The band continues to write and record new music, while earning a well-deserved reputation for a furious must-see live show.
About The Killigans
Born in a filthy garage in 2004 The Killigans have gone through various personel changes in their time together but have kept at their core a set of foot-stomping beer-loving raucous anthemic numbers drawing from traditional Celtic music along with streetpunk, gritty rock’n’roll and working class country music. Having become one of the most popular bands in the Nebraskan music scene they have gained a rapidly growing army of fans across the States and overseas as well. One of the highlights of their early career came in 2010 when their song ‘Lessons from the Empty Glass’ was used on the soundtrack to the big budget Universal Studios hit move Robin Hood. "Dance On Your Grave" is The Killigans fifth album and their development over the years is plain for all to see. From the rough and ready Irish folk-punk of 2006’s "Brown Bottle Hymnal" to 2010’s "Honor" which saw them shift towards a more stripped down punk sound and then to their last album "Another Round For The Strong Of Heart" from October 2012 which saw them raise the bar with their best release to date with a collection of songs that took the catchy Irish Celtic-Punk of their early days and the anthemic punk of "Honor" and combined the two for something particularly special that will go down as one of the best album’s that the genre has ever produced. Not bad for a bunch of working-class blokes from flyover country!
