AGMES: The Object as Transformation at NYC Jewelry Week 2025

On November 20, Morgan Lang, founder and designer of AGMES, invites artists and makers to the Tribeca studio for an intimate discussion on The Object as Transformation: Jewelry, art, and design as vessels of resilience and continuity.Panelists will include jewelry historians and artists across different mediums.AGMES Studio will be open 11am-5pm for discovering and shopping the collection. Opening cocktail reception 5:30-6pm. Panel will begin at 6pm until 7pm.

Launched in 2016, AGMES is designed and produced in New York City. Each piece is designed to defy trends, seasons, and to last for generations. Made from precious materials, our processes are purposeful, rooted in the knowledge that less—less waste, reduced greenhouse emissions, less mindless consumption—is always more.

A dream inspired from the encouragement of our late friend, Andrew, AGMES is a tribute to the power of kindness and a testament to friendship’s ability to inspire and move us. His initials comprise the “AG” in AGMES.

Each November, NYC Jewelry Week proudly presents ‘The Week,’ a 7-day celebration dedicated to the art of jewelry. This annual festival invites a global audience to explore the world of jewelry through a dynamic mix of in-person and virtual experiences, spanning New York City and beyond. Our hybrid program features virtual programs streamed on YouTube alongside immersive on-site activities.

In-person, NYC Jewelry Week brings together leading figures in the jewelry industry to curate extraordinary experiences, including exhibitions, exclusive shopping opportunities, and retail collaborations. Attendees can also participate in insightful panel discussions that explore trends, challenges, and innovations in the field. Each event creates memorable jewelry moments that celebrate the creativity and craftsmanship of the industry.

Committed to inclusivity, many of our programs are free and open to the public.
