About this Event
Lucy Obrey and Laura Wiley from Higgs LLP talk through some of the legal and taxation considerations when taking over as a trustee and/or an advisor, and the various opportunities and risks during the lifecycle of a typical UK trust.
Both Lucy Obrey and Laura Wiley are well known to our branch members. Lucy is the head of the Private Client team at Higgs LLP, has over 20 years experience as a solicitor in the private client field and is a regular speaker at STEP conferences. Laura is an accountant specialising in trusts and estate taxation and is a long serving member of the branch committee where she does unstinting work as our treasurer.
