Aging Matters: Coffee & Conversations at FiftyForward Madison Station
About this Event
Come to FiftyForward Madison Station to learn from our newest Aging Matters film, OUTPRICED & OVERLOOKED. Across the country, older adults are being priced out of the places they’ve called home. Rents are rising, affordable housing options are shrinking, and the safety net meant to protect aging Americans is failing. In this story, we meet older adults facing impossible housing costs — and the people trying to help — to understand how we got here, and why the solutions we have aren’t enough.
After the film, stay for conversation and light refreshments. Do you have experiences to share? Join us for conversations with guest speaker, Stephanie Houghton, Director of Programs with Rebuilding Together Nashville. We will have Q&A during an open discussion on housing topics in the Middle Tennessee area, and learn about additional local resources available to seniors.
This event is free, but space is limited.
Participants may also be entered in a drawing to recieve one year of PBS Passport for free.
This event is made possible by West End Home Foundation.
