The Barony of Altavia invites you to join us at Woodley Park Archery Range for our Agincourt Tournament. We will have Thrown Weapons, Archery, and our Fretted Fork cooking competition in which the Altavia Champions will be decided from the day's competitors.SCHEDULE:
8:00 am Site opens
10:00 am Opening court
3:30 pm Closing court
4:00 pm Site closes
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Adult Event Registration $20. Adult Member Discount Event Registration $10. Youth under 16 are guests of the Barony. Cash and checks accepted at gate. Please make checks payable to “SCA Inc./Barony of Altavia”.
ARCHERY TOURNAMENT: Double elimination ends between pairs of archers each shooting three arrows. Best arrow wins the end. There will also be novelty shoots for people to take part in throughout the day
THROWN WEAPONS TOURNAMENT: Novelty targets with a variety of weapons formats will be available. If you are planning on competing in Thrown Weapons, please wear closed toed shoes.
COOKING CONTEST: Altavia is hosting their Fretted Fork cooking contest. Come bring your favorite dishes. We will have period and non-period categories combined into one competition in order to chose the Baronial Champion. Documentation is not required for the period entries, but is appreciated. Ingredients of the day are coffee and/or cherries, which are favorites of the B&B. Champion will be chosen by populace vote.
MERCHANTS: Merchants are allowed within the confines of the range. Please contact the event steward for merchant information and reservations.
SITE INFORMATION/RESTRICTIONS: This is a dry site. Seriously, this is a dry site. Sharp projectiles and alcohol do not mix. Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times by parents or guardians. Pets are not allowed. Pavilions and pop-ups are allowed and encouraged. Extra long stakes are needed for the soft soil.

DIRECTIONS: The site is located in the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area between Burbank Boulevard and Victory Boulevard. Take your favorite route to 405 and Burbank Boulevard
From the 405 N: Exit at Burbank Boulevard and turn left toward Woodley
From the 405 S: Exit Burbank Blvd. enter in right toward Woodley.
At Woodley turn right look for a sign that bears the legend Japanese gardens or our SCA signs. Turn right towards the gardens and just before entering the Gardens turn right on the access road that traverses the park picnic grounds. Continue all the way until you reach the traffic circle. Follow the arch around and go left up the hill. Parking is limited, but there is parking near the range and off the side of the range behind the paved lot.
