"Re-wilding Agile" -- Join a coalition of agile practitioners and advocates in an Open Space gathering in the park
About this Event

If you share a collective interest in accelerating our agile learning and adapting fast enough to sharpen our ability to thrive as we re-enter our workplaces, please join us explore how to return to the original spirit and principles of Agile and develop an edge that’s fit for the future.

In this Open Space in the Wild (a public park ;-) we will explore what got us to the point where Agile went stale and domesticated and how to leverage the forces of uncertainty, ambiguity to craft accelerated learning strategies that can lead us towards continuous improvements and high performance as we learn from the future as it emerges.

What are entrenched ideas you are dying to K*ll and ways of making Agile more wild again? Come and share your insights and ideas with other kindred spirits and explore, learn and have fun in the process

Oh yes, and meet new people, make friends and advance your career

Schedule:

9am - 5:30pm: Open Space sessions, lunch and snacks provided

5:30 - 9 pm: Grill something you bring, network and hang out. Side dishes and beverages provided

Covid precautions: Proof of vaccination required. We will continue to monitor Department of Health requirements and be prepared to adapt as needed.

Limited scholarships are available. Please reach out to [email protected] for further conversations.

How Does it Work?

Using the Open Space Technology framework, we hold gatherings where sessions are self-organized around topics important to the participants. We invite you to take this opportunity to share your experiences, test new ideas and learn what other practitioners are thinking and doing! This is the place to learn and contribute. At Agile Open California you can attend sessions hosted by seasoned professionals, or host a session of your own. Here's an opportunity to share your favorite topic with others. Or if you have a topic you don't know much about, and would like to hear from people who do, you can convene a session and learn about your topic from the available expertise.
