Herbal Tea Gardening 101
Explore the world of herbal tea from your very own garden! This class makes growing your own herbal tea simple and easy.
Whether you want to relieve stress, improve health, or simply enjoy a delicious cup of tea, you will learn the basics of starting and maintaining your own tea garden in our local Connecticut climate.
Students will walk away with all the basics needed, knowledge of the various types of herbs that make good tea, as well as tips and tricks for blending and brewing tea from both fresh and dried herbs. Everyone will also have the chance to try blending and brewing teas with herbs during the class.
Note: Please register for each person attending and class fees are non-refundable. Cost is $35 for the class or $50 if you would like to receive a takeaway bag and $10 voucher to spend on the day of class on any item at Hello Sunshine!
About the Instructor: Liz Garypie’s passion for herbs and tea stems from a desire to recreate the vibrant and diverse food and tea culture she encountered during her international travels. With over a decade of experience growing culinary herbs, she maintains a perennial herb garden that fuels her husband's kitchen innovations. Seeking additional ways to integrate health and wellness into her life, she established her first tea garden in 2018. Today, she crafts her own blends of fresh and dried herbal teas at her home in Milford, CT. Beyond the garden, Liz leverages her 25+ years of corporate experience in the aerospace and defense industry as a career and leadership coach, business consultant, and speaker through E.G. Insights, LLC, where she empowers individuals and teams to unlock their potential and expand their impact.
