Agency Overview and Welcome Tour

Hello and welcome to Child and Family Agency!

We are excited to invite you to the new staff orientation on September 29th and September 30th.

Orientation will begin promptly at 8:30 am on Thursday and 9:00am on Friday. Please meet at the CFA Library located at 254 Hempstead Street, New London. The supervisors facilitating your training are Amanda Frechette and Christina Murphy. They will be with you both Thursday and Friday.

We hope that by attending this orientation you feel more connected to the Agency as a whole and have a greater understanding of all that the Agency has to offer.

What to expect: On Thursday: please bring your Agency laptop and lunch, feel free to dress comfortably. The program will be held primarily in the library. Your photo will be taken with the larger group which will be posted on the Agency portal for staff to get to know you. The day is scheduled to end in the library at about 2:30pm for those who do not use eCW and at 3:45pm for those who do utilize eCW.

On Friday: please bring lunch, leave your laptop at home. You will be visiting each CFA site and will meet different directors and staff. Transportation is provided but you are welcome to drive yourself if that is more comfortable for you. Mileage will be reimbursed and we will show you how to complete the form. The day is scheduled to end in the library at about 4pm.
