Join us for cycling, coffee and cake with fellow agency folk and celebrate the summer with a ride! Grab the chance to get some exercise, blow away the cobwebs and feel energised ready for any challenge.
Bike hire, toilets and parking available at the meeting point in the park.
Time: 9:30am to 11:30am

There will be two routes on offer (see below) so a range of abilities are catered for. For more information about cycling in Richmond Park, check out this great guide.
There will be time for a stop off for coffee and cake so we can discuss topics such as business development and sales tactics, ideas to generate healthy profits, ways to keep clients happy, advice on finding top talent, tips to stay sane and anything else that keeps you up at night!
Connect with like-minded professionals, share your experiences, and exchange ideas whilst out in the fresh air.

09:30am - Meet at Colicci, Roehampton Gate Café (parking and toilets)

10:00am - Cycle around the park

11:00am - Coffee and Cake back at Colicci, Roehampton Gate Cafe

11:30am - Head off (or keep cycling!)

Cycle Route 1
(approx. 30+ mins with a couple of hills to climb)

Anti-clockwise on the road from Colicci Roehampton Gate Café
Follow Priory Lane to Sawyer's Hill up to Richmond Gate
Left at the roundabout onto Queen's Road to Kingston's Gate
Left before the car park on to Broomfield's Hill to Robin Hood Gate
Left at the roundabout before the car park back to Colicci Roehampton Gate Café
Stop to rest or repeat the circuit.

Cycle Route 2
(approx 15+ mins and fewer hills)

Anti-clockwise on the road from Colicci Roehampton Gate Café
Follow Priory Lane to Sawyer's Hill up to Sheen Gate road roundabout
Left at the roundabout onto Sheen Gate road
Continue beyond Pen Pond's Cafe and down to the left to Robin Hood Gate
Left at the roundabout before the car park back to Colicci Roehampton Gate Café
Stop to rest or repeat the circuit.

What to bring ?

Bike (obviously!)
Cycling gear appropriate for the weather on the day
Wear lycras (with padded shorts) if you have them
Water and Snacks
Money for coffee and cake etc.

Safety advice?

Wear a helmet
Double check your bike is well maintained, gears oiled, tyres pumped etc.
Stick to the 20 mile per hour speed limit (it's for cyclists too)
Beware of cars, some drivers are nutty and some stop suddenly to watch the deer
Beware of other cyclists...some sneak up on you! ;)
Generally it's a very safe place to ride, but keep an eye out for obstacles like deer, road bumps and people.
