Age Well, Drive Smart—Driving Safety for Seniors

The California Highway Patrol offers an educational program for seniors on safe driving. The Age Well Drive Smart (AWDS) program for seniors brings to the foreground everyday matters we sometimes don't think, but are basic to our safety, and keep us behind the wheel longer. Issues include vision and reflexes, the various conditions on ordinary streets, and the rush and speed of our freeways. The old question of when is it time to give up the keys will be addressed. Naturally, questions and an active discussion will be encouraged.

About the Presenters: Stuart Olesker is the AWDS Coordinator, and he and his team of instructors are all CHP Senior Volunteers out of Station 580 in Woodland Hills. They have been certified to bring this stimulating education program to you.
