This age-friendly walk around Broadwater Farm is designed to be safe, accessible and enjoyable for older residents and families. The route follows level pavements and quiet pathways through the estate and nearby green spaces, with places to stop, rest and socialise along the way. Walkers can explore the local community, murals, gardens and open areas while enjoying light exercise, fresh air and opportunities to connect with neighbours. The walk promotes wellbeing, confidence and community inclusion for people of all ages.

Walk will start and end at Broadwater Farm Community Centre.

Walk and Craft

• This week, let’s meet at 10:00 for a lovely 30-minute gathering filled with creativity, nature, and fun to collect materials and go back to  Brodwater farm for painting.

• We’ll be using natural materials like dry wood, leaves, and our fingers to create our favourite view in the park. No brushes this time — just our imagination, creativity, and a little bit of nature to inspire us!
• After a short walk through the forest near Broadwater Farm and Harmony Gardens, we’ll begin painting at 10:30. All materials will be provided. We recommend wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy. Let’s enjoy the fresh air, get creative, and have a wonderful time together!
