REGISTRATION OPENS FOR ALL COLUMBIA COUNTY 4-H SUMMER ACTIVITIES ON SATURDAY, MAY 1 AT 8 AM!
All Grades Reflect the CURRENT 2020-2021 School Year!
Activities are open to children who live or go to school in Columbia County. Students do not have to be a current 4-H member to attend!

DETAILS: Come spend the day at Dutch Creek Animal Farm in Appling and White Hills Farm in Dearing! Students will experience hands-on learning with farm animals, plants and herbs, farm arts and crafts, and a tractor ride! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The full cost of the event must be paid up front.
- The drop-off & pick-up location for all activities is the Columbia Co. Extension/4-H Office in Appling.
- Transportation for field trips will be provided via county school bus driven by a CCBOE driver and certified 4-H volunteer.
- Due to current COVID-19 protocols, parents WILL NOT be allowed to attend activities and students must wear a face covering at all times unless eating or drinking.
- If the activity notes a "sack lunch", lunch will not be provided. The participants must bring a lunch from home. However, snacks and drinks will be available throughout the activity.
If your child can no longer attend the activity he or she is registered for, please let us know at least a week in advance if possible. A partial refund is available for those who request it at least one week before the activity is scheduled to begin. After that date, the activity fee nonrefundable. When requesting a partial refund for a summer activity, 25% of the total amount paid will be deducted from the refund. If the activity happens to be cancelled by Columbia County 4-H for whatever reason, students will be eligible for a FULL REFUND. If the refund request is based on an illness in which the student could not attend the activity, proper medical documentation is required. No refunds will be given to students who are sent home from an activity due to behavior. 4-H activity refund requests are determined and granted by the Columbia County 4-H Agent.
SUMMER ACTIVITY GOALS FOR YOUR CHILDThe #1 goal of Georgia 4-H is to make sure our campers are SAFE, part of an INCLUSIVE & welcoming environment, and having the BEST 4-H experience they can possibly have. Columbia County welcomes ALL children to camp no matter what medical need, disability, allergy, or special accommodation the student may have. Our 4-H staff and volunteers will go above and beyond to make sure that your child is well taken care of in the best way possible. In order for us to best take care of your child while he or she is participating in a 4-H activity, please fill out the REGISTRATION QUESTIONS regarding the particular needs of your child completely and thoroughly.
