AG Rugby Festival, 9th July 2022

The day begins at 0930 with the minis and juniors games, followed by the Men's 10s competitions from 1230.

With loads of teams taking part there is going to be some truely awesome rugby to watch.

The final, exciting showcase match of the day is the Ladies XVs match.

Throughout the day there will be music with a DJ all day, plus live music after the rugby.

There will be food stalls, a kids' play area, a prize Raffle, entertainment plus non-stop rugby.

The AG Rugby Festival is held in memory of Alan George, a prominent figure in rugby in Sheffield.

As Director of Rugby at Sheffield Hallam University, Alan George (known as AG) was a huge support and inspiration to a lot of student players and a lot of up and coming professional players.

The AG Rugby Festival is a fitting tribute to our well respected, and greatly missed, friend.

Last years event was a massive success. It was a brilliant atmosphere, and a fun day for all, and this years is already shaping up to be even bigger and better.

Spectators entry to the festival is £3 by advance ticket booked here, or £5 on the gate.

Kids entry is free.

Players entry is also free.

The money raised from the festival is being split between two good causes; the Sheffield Hospitals Charity, and the Fourth Pitch Fund at Sheffield Tigers.
