The Academy Group is excited to offer our 9th –11th grade members a hands-on Cooking Class at The Chopping Block, one of Chicago’s premier culinary spaces. During this interactive workshop, members will learn fundamental cooking techniques, practice kitchen safety, follow recipes, and prepare a meal from scratch.

• Academy Group 9th–11th Grade Members

• A guided cooking lesson led by professional chefs
• Hands-on meal preparation stations
• A shared meal at the end of class
• Skill-building in collaboration, communication, and culinary techniques
• All ingredients and materials provided by The Chopping Block

• Bus transporation provided from Kenwood
• Members must arrive on time to board the bus - late arrivals will not be accommodated. Drop-off and pick-up times will be sent via email

A waitlist will automatically open once the event reaches capacity.
