Get ready for an exciting year of hands-on learning and fun at Jefferson County Library! Afterschool STEM is a club for 3rd–5th grade students to explore science, technology, engineering, and math through inquiry-driven, engaging activities.September Highlights:
Sep. 10, 3:30–4:15 PM — Orientation (3rd–5th Grade)
Meet Ms. Lizzy and Ms. Laura, connect with other families, learn about expectations and the schedule, and get ready for a year of exploration. Parents/guardians are welcome!
Sep. 17 — Good Science & Plant Presses

Dive into the scientific method with fun experiments and creative plant pressing activities.
Sep. 24 — Why Do Leaves Change Color? & Chromatography Study

Explore the science behind color in nature! Discover why trees lose their leaves every fall and learn about chromatography through hands-on experiments.
