Iowa author Ann Hanigan Kotz has released her new novel, Sons & Daughters, a sequel to her debut novel, The Journey of Karoline Olson. In her presentation, Ann shares briefly about growing up in Denison, Iowa, and her own journey as an author with her Karoline book. Complimenting her second book, Ann shares some of her research in a colorful PowerPoint presentation titled "Suffrage and WWI: Through the Eyes of Iowa." This presentation is full of historical pictures and highlights Iowans' experiences with these two American events. At the conclusion of her presentation, Ann answers questions and signs books.
