AfterGlow Chorus Concert - Healing & Heart

"Healing & Heart" is a special concert in honor of patients and caregivers (especially their families and friends). This special concert is meant to provide emotional comfort, solace, and healing for not only patients but also their loving caregivers. We will also be honoring the late, great Bill Withers who passed away five years ago in 2020.

Here are just a few of the many wonderful pieces across many musical genres we will be performing:

• "Just the Two of Us" by Bill Withers
• "Grandma's Hands" by Bill Withers
• "How I Got Over" by Aretha Franklin
• "I Love the Lord" by Richard Smallwood

The concert is near Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA at the beautiful St. Paul's Episcopal Church Oakland. The church has stunning acoustics with beautiful stained glass windows. Street and paid parking is available nearby. It is also a few blocks away from the 19th Street BART Station.
