About this Event

Two creative evenings at Three Colts Tavern that blend the joy of after-work socials with the mindful, playful spirit of zine-making.

Invited by the pub to transform its cosy corner into a creative hub, Ioana (aka Artizine) brings her signature approach to analogue making: using scissors, glue, and storytelling to nurture connection and care in a gentle, social space.

Each session offers a different theme and atmosphere:

? Zine Night 1: Halloween’s Mystery

Thursday, October 30th, 6–8pm

Tap into the strange, the spooky, and the surreal.
We’ll explore zine-making as a spell for transformation: layering textures, collages, and imagery to create handmade zines full of mystery and imagination.

✨ Zine Night 2: Wishlists for the New Year

Thursday, December 4th, 6–8pm

As the year winds down, turn your thoughts toward care, hope, and creative beginnings.
This session invites you to craft zines as wishlists, small handmade offerings to yourself or others.

✂️ Both evenings are designed as gentle creative pauses, a chance to unwind, meet new people, and experiment with paper and print in a relaxed setting.
✂️ All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed.

About Artizine:

Artizine is a socially engaged zine project led by East London-based artist Ioana Simion. Rooted in play, participation, and DIY publishing, I create welcoming spaces for people to explore their creativity and share stories.

Since 2019, Ioana has facilitated workshops with major cultural institutions and grassroots groups alike. Her approach celebrates process over perfection, centering the radical spirit of analog emotion and collective expression.
