At this event, attendees will have the chance to explore themselves and others. In addition, aspiring poets will have a platform to share their work, receive feedback, and grow as artists.
The writing lab is an integral part of our event. It's a space where you can unleash your creativity, write your thoughts, and be part of a community of like-minded individuals. The highlight of the night is our open mic session. This is your chance to take the stage, share your work, and bask in the applause of a supportive audience. Whether you're a seasoned poet or trying your hand at poetry for the first time, we welcome you to share your voice and your words.
What better way to stimulate the senses and inspire creativity than through live music? We're excited to announce that we will be featuring live musical inspiration throughout the evening.
Our featured artist is a talented jazz & classical pianist and composer who will be playing a selection of pieces to create a soothing and inspiring ambiance perfect for writing and appreciating poetry.
To wrap up the event, we invite all attendees to reflect on their experience and share their thoughts. This is an opportunity to network with other attendees, discuss your work, and receive constructive feedback. Let's continue the conversation and the exchange of ideas even after the event has ended.
We can't wait to see you there and celebrate/close National Poetry Month together!
