Mike Nelson is known for transforming familiar, salvaged and scavenged materials into immersive environments that respond to the architecture, history and atmosphere of a particular place. His site-specific installations invite visitors to move through imagined worlds, uncovering fragments of narrative and finding new meaning in everyday objects.
