After Hours With the Desert Hippie is a monthly live conversation held inside our space, after the shop closes and the day settles.These are real conversations about healing as it actually happens; layered, personal, and rarely linear. We talk about the work we do here, the experiences that shape change, and the different paths people take as they move through their own healing process.
Each month, we sit down with practitioners, community members, and collaborators to share stories, perspectives, and lived experiences from inside this work.
This February, we’re sitting down with Rico Enriquez, a member of our community whose personal healing journey became the foundation for his newly published book.
Rico’s story reflects something we see often, real change that came not from one session or one approach, but from working with multiple modalities over time.
In this live conversation, we’ll talk about:
+ How his healing journey began
+ What led him to explore different forms of energy work and ceremony
+ His experiences with Reiki, cacao, guided meditation, and Hapé
+ What it meant to bring those experiences together in a way that actually worked
