After Dark: Weird Science takes on the strange-but-true side of science with an adults-only night of unexpected experiments, curious discoveries and a few things that might make your skin crawl.
• Explore the science of fear with Wayne State University neurology students and hear from Wayne State University mortuary science professors on the Science Stage.
• Step into the Penske Planetarium and hear the eerie side of the cosmos as you imagine what objects in space might sound like if you could hear them.
• Catch weird science demos throughout the night — forensic fingerprinting and bone degreasing, anyone?
• Stop by the Motor City Comic Con table.
You’re encouraged to come in costume — strange, scientific or otherwise.
More surprises are still taking shape.
