18.00-19.30 WORKSHOP WITH NATALIA FURES: "CLOSE EMBRACE" - How can we create space within the close embrace? We will work on turns and spirals that allow us to generate space within the embrace and how to execute them comfortably. We will apply milonguero-style sequences for small spaces(Intermediate–Advanced level)

NATALIA FURES: is a manager, dancer, DJ, and tango teacher with 19 years of experience. Her dancing style was forged mainly in the milonga, which is reflected in her dance through a strong milonguera essence, blended with a unique sensitivity. Her approach to dance is enriched by her experience as a DJ and musician, with a deep understanding of music from all eras.
As a feminist, she has worked to make visible other ways of experiencing tango. From her role-free classes to her participation in the Tango World Championship in Buenos Aires alongside her dance partner, she has promoted projects that amplify the voices of women and diversities within the genre.
Her international tours have taken her to showcase her approach outside of Argentina, highlighting her focus on biomechanics applied to tango in her classes. She has trained with dozens of masters in Buenos Aires and has studied various movement techniques that she relates to tango.
She was teaching and DJing in Stockholm for the first time in November 2025 (with Yana Khalilova), and in June 2026 she will be back in Stockholm to DJ at Alma de Bohemia.
We are so happy to be able to offer this extra possibility to meet Nati as both a tango teacher and DJ!
