Afrovegan cooking workshop with Cantine Toca | Spring sessions

Hi everyone! Here is the third workshop of Afrovegan cooking with Cantine Toca. In this workshop, we will dive into West African flavours and teach you how to incorporate those flavours in a delicious West African vegan dessert.

The workshop will start with a little bit of history of the ingredients and recipe, demonstrations, and then lead into group instruction as you practice your new skills in real time. In this class, we will be preparing 1 different vegan dish or dessert, each that will highlight a different technique that can be adapted to add many new dishes to your home repertoire. Beverages and food will be served throughout the workshop which will conclude with communal lunch featuring the final composed desserts we made in the class.

Space is limited to a few guests. Due to the intimate size and limited time, we will be unable to accommodate any deviations from the planned menu.

Bonjour à tous ! Voici le premier atelier de cuisine afro-végane avec Cantine Toca. Dans cet atelier, nous allons plonger dans les bases des saveurs ouest-africaines et vous apprendre à incorporer ces saveurs dans de délicieux desserts végétaliens ouest-africains.

L'atelier commencera par une petite histoire des ingrédients et de la recette, des démonstrations, puis se poursuivra par des cours en groupe où vous pourrez mettre en pratique vos nouvelles compétences en temps réel. Dans ce cours, nous préparerons 1 plat ou dessert végétalien, chacun mettant en évidence une technique différente qui peut être adaptée pour ajouter de nombreux nouveaux plats à votre répertoire personnel. Des boissons et de la nourriture seront servies tout au long de l'atelier, qui se terminera par un dîner commun comprenant les desserts que nous aurons réalisés pendant le cours.

L'espace est limité à quelques participants. En raison de l'intimité de l'atelier et du temps limité, il ne sera pas possible de s'écarter du menu prévu.
