Afrofuturism Film & Fashion Showcase

Conscious Creations by MacKenzie Couture & Films will be presenting an afternoon of short films, performances, and fashion showcases. These displays all aim to celebrate Minority Mental Health Month through the lens of Afrofuturism, highlighting the creativity, complexity and resilience of the African diaspora.

Other presenters and collaborators in this event include Queen Chioma, Detroit Flower Company, Women in Film and Video, Love Laces LLC, and Queen Team Modeling Agency.

This event will be held in the Friends Auditorium on the lower level. The films to be shown are all rated PG-13.
