Oluwaseun Usman (also known as Usmanii) is a dancer, movement director, percussionist, photographer, dance videographer and aspiring DJ from Lagos , in Nigeria. He finds solace in the performing arts, particularly African theater and street dance, exploring concepts of freedom of individual expression and shared communal experiences.
Description:
In this workshop, we will be drawing inspirations from the busy and vibrant streets of Lagos (the city that never sleeps). In short, we will bring the streets into the classroom! We will learn some basic street dance moves, explore some popular Afrobeats dance anthems and finally, as a group, we will (re)discover our own voices and bodies through the movements.
The goal is to generate enough energy, heat, vibration and force to shake the very foundations of Trondheim!
So come happy, bring lots of good vibes, personality and flow! The workshops will be beginner friendly!
