🌿 Afrocuban Academy wraca po kilku latach przerwy.
To cykl całodniowych, 6-godzinnych warsztatów dla osób, które weszły już w świat afro-cuban i czują, że chcą zanurzyć się w nim głębiej — nie tylko przez ruch, ale też przez rytm, historię, pieśni, symbolikę i kontekst kultury afro-kubańskiej.
Pierwszy zjazd poświęcony będzie Eleggua — jednej z najważniejszych Orisha, otwierającej drogi, stojącej na początku każdej ścieżki i każdego procesu.
🎶 Warsztaty poprowadzi Alfredo Garcia Gonzalez, który przeprowadzi uczestników przez pełniejszy proces poznawania kultury afro-kubańskiej: od tańca, przez rytmy, po znaczenia, opowieści i praktykę muzyczną.
Podczas zjazdu znajdzie się czas na:
✨ taniec afro-cuban
✨ patakis, czyli historie związane z Orisha
✨ naukę rytmów na tambores batá
✨ cantos, czyli pieśni
✨ rozmowę i dyskusję wokół kultury afro-kubańskiej
To warsztat dla tych, którzy chcą wiedzieć więcej.
Dla tych, którym nie wystarcza samo powtarzanie kroków.
Dla tych, którzy chcą rozumieć, skąd bierze się ruch, rytm i energia afro-cuban.

🌿 Afrocuban Academy returns after several years of break.
It is a series of full-day, 6-hour workshops for people who have already entered the world of afro-cuban dance and feel ready to go deeper — not only through movement, but also through rhythm, history, songs, symbolism, and the cultural context of Afro-Cuban traditions.
The first meeting will be dedicated to Eleggua — one of the most important Orisha, the opener of roads, present at the beginning of every path and every process.
🎶 The workshops will be led by Alfredo Garcia Gonzalez, who will guide participants through a deeper experience of Afro-Cuban culture: from dance and rhythms to meanings, stories, and musical practice.
During the workshop, we will explore:
✨ afro-cuban dance
✨ patakis, stories connected with the Orisha
✨ rhythms on tambores batá
✨ cantos, traditional songs
✨ conversation and discussion around Afro-Cuban culture
This workshop is for those who want to know more.
For those who feel that simply repeating steps is not enough.
For those who want to understand where the movement, rhythm, and energy of afro-cuban dance come from.
