Last year Labour day weekend Africa live canada produced "Afrofest Ottawa" at Mooney's bay and we had over 10,000 Attendees and Afrobeat Music Festival should be no different!!

Afrobeats Music Festivals is an international cultural exchange 2 days festival designed to take the world into the knowledge base of African musical genre, celebration of talents and experiential immersion into the spirit of Afrobeats.

Afrobeats Music Festival was born out of the desire to spread the tentacles of Afrobeats, the global genre sensation, in Canada and North America. Afrobeats continues to experience unprecedented growth in the past decade and many of its exponents are considered global superstars in their own right.

As Afrobeats continues to dominate music spaces all over the world, AMF looks to elevate and enrich the platform of African music.

THINGS TO KNOW & WHAT TO EXPECT:

The Afrobeat music festival will be a Heavy rotation of Afrobeat music both days, with a blend of Dancehall, Soca, Reggae, Zouk and many more, Featuring host of international and National performances From DJ's to Artist. Afrobeat Dance Competitions on both days with award presentations. A Lot of Fun activities throughout the day, different food flavors with an interactive host to keep you off your feet all day. Make sure you have your dancing shoes on and be comfortable

-2 Days Festival

-Festival gates opens at 2pm

-Festival ends at 10:30pm

-Either Rain or Sun Festival will go on so come prepared.

-There will be multiple tents for shade.

-Everyone MUST have a ticket to access the Festival Site.

-General Admission (Paid Ticket)

-Age 16+

-LIMITED VIP Admission TICKET (Dedicated EXPRESS ENTRANCE/EXIT for only VIP TICKET HOLDERS ONLY Paid Ticket)

-There will be ATM and POS machines on site. (you are encouraged to bring cash)

-There will be Restricted BEER TENT AREA for 19+ to purchase Alcoholic Beverages.

-You can book a VIP BOOTH in advance (Call/Text 6134021195), which will come with food and drinks. Close to the stage MUST be 19+

-NO FOOD or DRINKS are allowed on festival site.

-There will be a full Security Check.

-There will be Different Flavors of food and food tents

-Washrooms on site

-Sanitizing Stations on site

-Please come ready to support Local Businesses.

-After 7pm you won't be allowed to enter the festival site, Please come early there will be lots of activities to keep you busy and entertained.

-Feel free to bring a folding chair and umbrella

From Hwy #417 “Queensway” Eastbound:

• take Vanier Parkway (Exit #117)

• go left at the lights

• go 300 m to Coventry Road and turn right

• Outdoor Venue is at your immediate right

From Hwy #417 “Queensway” Westbound:

• take Vanier Parkway (Exit #117)

• turn right on to Coventry Road –

• Outdoor Venue is at your immediate right

From Toronto area:

• take Hwy #401 Eastbound

• take Hwy #416 Northbound

• take Hwy #417 Eastbound-

• take Vanier Parkway (Exit #117)

• go left at the lights

• go 300 m to Coventry Road and turn right

• Outdoor Venue is at your immediate right

From OC Transpo LRT (both directions):

• exit at Tremblay Station (VIA Rail)

• head to Max Keeping brige

• walk 450 m to Outdoor Venue

SECURITY & ENTRANCE:

-Ticket required to access festival grounds

-No sharp objects allowed

-No Smoking or Vaping allowed on festival grounds

-Arrive early as the check-in process may take some time

-Security will be present at the entrance and will have the authority to search personal property

-Face masks are mandatory while waiting in line only

-Ensure you have no covid symptoms as screening and temperature checks will be carried out

-Proof of vaccination with QR code and Valid Government issued ID Required

-Have your printed tickets ready OR have the ticket barcode on your phone ready to be scanned

-No outside Food or Drink will be permitted on Festival grounds
