Once again, the Angel Foundation in partenership with Grace Foods and VM Group Transpak Ship presents the Afro Caribbean Expo 24
You can expect to see a wide variety of black businesses and organisations exhibited from a selection of different fields of expertise. Come along to purchase items and learn more about these brilliant initiatives within the community

About Angel Foundation
Angelfoundationukja was established in October 2011, by its founder Ms Angelia Christian. The organisation celebrated its 10th year anniversary in 2021. Primarily, the charity was set up to support hospitals and schools and such related sectors, in Jamaica. After nearly drowning of her 2 daughters
In 2017 Angelfoundationukja began assisting with Jamaican educational initiatives, after Ms Christian attended the funeral of a nine-year-old child – whilst on a visit to the island.
Thereafter, the charity organised the building of IT Computing Suites, Constance at the Unity Infant Primary School and another for the new Stony Hill Technical High School St Andrew,
Mount Pleasant Primary School Portland, Lethe Primary St.
Freehill Primary St Ann
Bensonton Primary school St Ann
Greater Portmore High School St Catherine
Trench town Primary school Kingston
and launching of the “Sponsor a Child in Education Direct” programme. due the severe violence in schools in Jamaica

Theyme Walk this Way
The growth of Angelfoundationukja has seen a steady development over the years by working with and supporting Jamaican hospitals. The foundation has broaden its scope through the Ministry of Education Youth information Ministry of Health while collaboration with the NHS (UK) – it has donated the following items to Jamaica:-
(i) 2 Ambulances
(ii) Mobile Blood Unit
(iii) 100 hospitals beds
(iv) Wheel chairs
(v) 2 Defibilators from the NHS (UK) – which cost 15 thousand pounds each
(vi) Dental Mobile Clinic donate to Anambra State with Mayor Harrow Cllr Ernest Ezeajuhi
Charitable organisations such as the Mary Seacole Trust (UK) and educational institutions like Roxbourne Primary School (Harrow, West London) - has donated to the foundation, seating desks for Jamaican primary schools. Staffordshire University has partnered with the foundation and donated 80 chairs for schools in the island too.
Recently, St. Peters Catholic School (Birmingham, West Midlands) 5 New Cookers
Schools will again benefit from equipped IT Suite arrival . This particular enterprise (shipping of the new furniture, 18 computers base, 18 Lenova Monitors- donated from IT Room Coco Cola London. Other important persons through institutions have been very instrumental in assisting and supporting this well needed “Schools IT Suite initiative”. These include the Ministry of Education Youth and Information – Jamaica, Permanent Secetary Dr Kasan Troupe – who have always endorsed these gifts.

The principals of the aforementioned schools are highly appreciative of the 12 years, that the Angel Foundation has been in active partnership with Grace Foods UK and Victoria Mutual (VM Group)Transpak Ship (amongst others) – in supporting such schools programmes, in Jamaica.
In this regard, special mention is given to the VM Group Foundation representative Ms Sophie Lewis and Grace Kennedy Foundation’s officer, Ms Caroline Mafood.
Both Grace Foods UK along with V M Group have been an enduring “tower of strength” behind the Angelfoundationukja organisation – as they are always supportive of Jamaican charities and their related causes here in the UK and back in Jamaica as well.
As a consequence, the Angel Foundation would like to highlight other kind supportive Patron such as Mr Shaun Wallace (of ITV’s Chaser programme) and Actor, Mr George Muhammad. September 2021 Angelfoundationukja Celebrated 10 years with the Mayor of Haringey actress Donna Croll the Chaser Shaun Wallace attending Jamaica High Commissioner team attending their time and generosity in supporting needy Health and Education initiatives in Jamaica.
Due to the ongoing effects of Covid 19 pandemic, various programmes of the Angel Foundationukja were halted but never the less we continue the work with online support.
