Afro Anatolian Tales

Founded by Dutch-Turkish percussionist Sjahin During, Afro Anatolian Tales is an Amsterdam-based quartet that has spent over 15 years bringing its distinctive sound to audiences around the world. With seven albums and performances in 32 countries across five continents, the ensemble has established itself as a unique voice in contemporary world music. Their acclaimed debut album, Afro Anatolian Tales, earned international recognition, including a Top 5 selection by the BBC and a five-star review from Songlines magazine.

Drawing on the rich musical heritage of the Silk Road, the quartet seamlessly blends traditional sounds with contemporary electronics and improvisation to create immersive, cinematic soundscapes that transcend borders and genres.
