We are thrilled to announce the African Youth Chess Championship, taking place from September 1st to September 9th, 2023 at the Al-Baron Hotel. This tournament is a chance for young chess players from across the African continent to showcase their skills and compete against their peers. The African Youth Chess Championship is open to players aged [6-18]years old, and will feature a variety of categories to accommodate players of different skill levels. This is a great opportunity to meet other young chess players, learn from experienced coaches, and possibly win some amazing prizes.
The Al-Baron Hotel is the perfect venue for this exciting event, providing comfortable and convenient accommodations for players and spectators. We encourage everyone to come out and support the players as they battle it out on the chessboard.
