AMCF will be back at the Immigration Museum on Sat 25 March from 10am-10pm for a ONE DAY pop up event as part of cultural diversity week. In celebration of Cultural Diversity Week “AMCF at the Museum” will be a showcase of the flavours and brilliance of our festival that our fans have come to know and love.
This year’s Cultural Diversity Week theme is Our Past. Our Future: Celebrating and reflecting on the contributions of Victoria's multicultural communities.
The theme invites Victorians of all ages and backgrounds to reflect on multicultural Victoria's long history and celebrate its bright future.
“AMCF at the Museum" will be celebrating the theme through the rich cultures of Africa through food, music, fashion, art, poetry and reflective conversations around cultural identity.
Expect a fantastic celebration of diversity and harmony that brings the tastes, sounds, rhythms, and flavours of Africa to life.
For families, there is kid’s entertainment including African drumming classes, face painting, African board games and more!
It is set to be a great taster of what’s to come at this year’s AMCF festival, which will be held over THREE days from Friday 17 November to Sunday 19 November 2023 at Melbourne’s Federation Square.
This is a paid ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased here - https://bit.ly/41qzJ1V.
