Join us for an inspiring celebration of Black brilliance, entrepreneurship, and community impact. This month’s African History Saturdays highlights Gary Mitchell Jr.—entrepreneur, community leader, and wellness advocate. A Xavier University graduate and founder of more than 15 businesses, Gary leads Black Philanthropy Month KC and Grind Fit Weekend, while serving as a Community Wellness Ambassador with the Kansas City Health Department. He blends business expertise with a passion for culture, wellness, and collective impact—sparking innovation, resilience, and success across our community.
