African Drum & Dance with Thierno
Come and learn from the source!
Thierno will lead an awesome, inclusive, and fun day of drum and dance.
Each traditional West African rhythm is paired with a dance. In this workshop series you’ll learn the rhythm first, then how to move to it. Come for one or both sessions.

Vibrant drumming – Experience how the djembe can help you find your flow, reduce stress, and connect—with music, community, others, and yourself. Kick-start your rhythm journey or deepen it as you immerse yourself in infectious grooves.
Dynamic dancing – Enjoy the energetic, flowing, and ecstatic movement of West African dance from Guinea.
Suitable for ABSOLUTE beginners through to advanced. All ages welcome.
